The Comedy Club

Hi there. It’s been a minute. Not really sure where I’ve been at lately; been a little too caught up with the day-to-day than I’d like to be, ya know?

But I’m trying to change that! I swear! Things are just taking longer to come together than I’d prefer. But then, when haven’t they? I’ve never been particularly patient…

So, what am I up to lately?

Well, I’m so glad you’ve asked!

Music! I’ve got a decent little stack of half-finished songs I’ve been meaning to come back to ever since the move…couldn’t tell you why I haven’t yet, but I’ll get there soon. Gallardo EP #1’s gotta happen sooner or later……

Writing! At the moment I’m still trying to figure out exactly which directions to head in with my writing; I’ve been going through a period of so. many. fits and starts lately, and I’m trying my best to get away from that as much as possible. I wouldn’t wish for anyone to have so many bits and pieces of half-formed ideas to sift through, honestly. I mean, I know there’s a diamond in the rough in there somewhere, but man… a lot of it’s real rough. This is to say, I’m currently working on four(?give or take) completely different projects at the moment, and while progress has been painfully slow these past few weeks, I’m closer than ever to the breakthrough I’ve been waiting for. And I’m so excited!

Designs? Photographs? ANYTHING ELSE???!? Well, in all truthfulness, not really! And that’s a little disappointing, I won’t lie. But hey, give me a break, I’m only as human as anyone else! There’s only so much I can get done in the hours between my full-time job. For now. And that’s a cold fact I’m only now realizing as I’m typing these words that I don’t acknowledge nearly enough. Shame on me.
